This adjusting collar screws on to the very fine threade of the Super 7 feedscrews. It is used to take up slack in the thread, to reduce backlash.
Comes supplied with grub screw. Please note – the grub screw pushes up against a copper pad. If you don’t have the copper pad in place, the grub screw can damage the thread of the feedscrew, making any attempt to use this collar futile.
